VikingGenetics joins forces with the Finnish AI cooperative FABA. |

The new VikingGenetics starts operating January 2010 and will be among the
largest AI companies in the world. The new VikingGenetics will have a domestic base of
1,3 million cows and test more than 650 bulls in total – all with the Nordic Total Merit Index – NTM.
VikingGenetics combines the long time selection for functional traits with an intensive
implementation of new technologies in the breeding program, such as genomic selection - GenVik.
